A day to remember the love poured on us unconditionally

In the historical timeline back to about 2000 years ago, there is someone who so love you that he had died for you. Yes! Even when you yet to know him.

This amazing man is the son of God, Jesus who incarnated into human form as and go through the life that every people gone through. He was born as a human and died as a human. Ordinary yet extraordinary!

The world had been gone through the sacrifices ceremonies again and again as human race had sinned. However, no one sacrifice is as holy as what Jesus had demonstrated. He, who had never sinned had died on the cross on behalf of the sinning world.

There is no other love that is so great and so amazing. As the scripture said:
"Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and affiliated.
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wound we are healed."
(Isaiah 53: 4-5)

Because of him, we have new life. Because of him we have new hope. Because of him we are reconciled with God. Our sinned are washed away, because of he had our sins crucified on the cross.

What kind of love is this, that saved us when we are yet to love him.
I am so grateful to have a God who so love me.

It's Good Friday today, in this very day in 2000 years ago, Christ had died for us.
It's him who first loved us enable us to love him back.
This is the unconditional love that is upon us.

Here is a song, which remind me of how faithful He is.
Thank you Jesus!

Because of You
